My micro science fiction story ‘Transient’ has appeared today at ‘A Story in 100 Words’, courtesy once again of editor Decater ‘Doc’ Collins. Enjoy!
Night Shift
A return to Prosperina, and another morally dubious protagonist… hustle on over to SciFanSat Magazine issue 15 (the ‘Night’ issue) to find my latest flash science fiction piece, ‘Night Shift’, courtesy of editor Jason H. Abbott. https://scifansat.com/bibi/?book=SciFanSat_Issue_15_Night_10-26-2024.epub#p=1

Only the Lonely
My flash science fiction story ‘Only the Lonely’ has been published today at 365tomorrows, featuring a flawed protagonist and a dubious nightspot. Many thanks to editor Stephen Smith and his trusty sidekick Otto. 🙂

Buyer Beware
[Note: this story was a runner up in Tortive Theatre’s December 2021 #flashfiction101 competition, and published online on January 2022. Thanks to a site reorganisation it is no longer publicly available, so I’m posting it here instead].
The ad made it sound like a great idea – a fresh start for the new year.
“Stuck in a rut? Life got you down?
Run faster, last longer, get the attention you deserve!
Become a Centaur, with BodyMorph’s patented technology!
Wise or Wild, the choice is YOURS!”
Now I have to walk everywhere because I don’t fit in the car. I’m tired from standing up all day at work. The local kids keep trying to ride me. I’m hung like a horse, but girls just want to brush me.
Take my advice: when someone suggests you pony up, just say no!
Runaway
Very happy to happy to have my drabble ‘Runaway’ appear in September’s SciFanSat – the Survival issue. Many thanks to editor Jason Abbott 🙂
